Popcorn Wellness Awards

With the rising rates of social media usage, there has also been a rise in creators focused on mental health. Each day, various content creators spend their time advocating for mental health awareness, and creating relatable content that works to destigmatize mental health difficulties

Mental health is a difficult subject to tackle, and fortunately this year the Popcorn Wellness Awards have created a ceremony to recognize these creators for all that they’ve done in the mental health community.

What are the Popcorn Wellness Awards?

The Popcorn Wellness Awards is a virtual award ceremony created to honor digital creators who best use social media, with an extended focus on TikTok, to educate, inspire, or uplift others in the realm of holistic wellness- physical, mental, and emotional.

The Wellness Awards recognizes three areas of health and wellness: mental health, food, and fitness. Any influencer or creator is welcomed to submit their content if it relates to health and wellness. This is the inaugural year for the awards, and a very exciting opportunity for creators to get recognized for their meaningful impact through social media.

How to Get Included

Entries are being accepted through March 20th for the Mental Wellness Awards. If you are interested in submitting your social media channel or account for judging, all content engagement and activity between January 1st, 2020 and December 31st, 2020 will be under consideration. The Wellness Awards will honor the best use of social media to achieve the goals of raising awareness and educating in the health and wellness space. The judging criteria will be on quality and originality of content, impact of efforts in advocacy, providing support, and raising awareness in the area of mental wellness.

The 5 Collective Wellness Award Categories for Mental Wellness

  1. Most Admired Mental Wellness Award
  2. Most Impactful Mental Wellness Award

The Judges

On top of everything, creators who submit content will be judged by an amazing, diverse group of judges. Win or lose, this is a great opportunity to show off your content to a well-informed group of individuals who have committed their careers to wellness, and health.

Why This Matters

Each year influencers and celebrities are recognized for their efforts and work in nearly every aspect of media through various events and awards ceremonies. Mental health is a hard topic to cover, and more importantly, a topic that is often left unrecognized or hidden away due to stigmatized beliefs. Creators who choose to cover topics ranging from depression and anxiety, to grief and suicide, deserve a space to be acknowledged for these efforts.

The Popcorn Wellness Awards are here to create that missing space. Don’t miss out on a chance to be recognized for your impact in the big world of mental health.
